A data report from Public Health Madison & Dane County's LGBTQ+ Data Workgroup, compiling Dane County Youth Assessment and other survey data on the health of LGBTQ+ people in Dane County and Wisconsin. Covers social drivers of health, mental health, and substance use, including findings that 40% of trans people in Dane County reported job loss or reduced hours in the past year, and that 62% of trans people and 28% of LGB people experienced 14+ poor mental health days in the past month, compared to 11% of non-LGBT people. Published June 2026 by a workgroup of Public Health Madison & Dane County and OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center.
